Many people think that the Dream Stream is the most beautiful film that ever been made from Swedish mountains, Lapland. The Dream Stream DVD is a fly fishing adventure with tough canoeing hardships, wonderful nature experience, exiting meetings with wild Swedish animals and a lot of lovely fly fishing moments with midge rods, dry flies & nymphs. From a fishing film perspective the Dream Stream is a truly masterpiece with excellent photo, editing & sound from the authentic nature. All made by only one man, Thomas Ohman Sweden. This film is a serious one man production, a fishing DVD of the highest quality and class. Film description: Ever since I was little I've loved fly fishing in the Swedish mountains, and when I needed a challenge after 15 years as a camera man on TV, I came up with the perfect idea. I packed my midge rods and camera equipment, rented a canoe and set off for my fishing adventure for a lifetime. I intended to spend one month in the far north of Sweden looking for pristine streams with big trout and graylings - while recording my adventures. Dreaming of hatches, waking graylings and big wild trout's, I paddled 100 kilometers into the wilderness. Armed with midge rods, dry flies and nymphs, I searched for the perfect stream from the last fir trees to the northern downiest birches and the tundra. In these unspoiled surroundings I also got very close to the Arctic birds and animals. As well as wanting to find my midge fishing paradise, I had also set myself an even greater challenge by deciding to film my entire venture all by myself. The Dream Stream became my greatest ever film project. The recordings took me seven summers - not one! You can now join me on this expedition from start to finish, share my canoeing efforts, see the Arctic flora and fauna and be part of my many wonderful fly fishing moments. decided to go fishing in the archipelago. They had no idea
that in less than three days, they would catch

two real beauties which tipped the scales at
over 33 lbs
a piece and another 22 weighing well over I dropped everything, packed my camera equipment and got into my car. On the way, I thought about a script for the film, but not even I was prepared for the sights that awaited me. When filming started the following morning, the excitement was almost too much to bear. Incredibly, the pikes kept going for the bait like mad, and I was able to catch a hitherto unprecedented fishing experience on film. A frenzy of remarkable proportions! Word of the fabulous fishing tale spread like wildfire and soon made history as the most amazing case of pike fever ever witnessed in Scandinavia. After months of painstaking editing I was able to present this epic pike fishing film. It quickly became one of the classics in Scandinavia and won the award "Best fishing film of the year" in 2005. Pike fever is full of serious pike fishing action: brutal bites, fabulous fights, double acts and a totally unbelievable series of pikes which will leave even the most experienced pike fisherman breathless.
